Explorer Camp

Serves girls entering grades 4 thru 5 (Junior girl scouts). Five days and four nights in length this camp provides a longer and more challenging experince. This years camp will again be based on the concept of Exploration. Our goal is for girls to discover their environment and in so doing begin to appreciate it's importance.

Cadette Camp

This camp is for seven days and six nights and designed for girls entering grades 6 thru 9 (Cadette & Senior girl scouts). The theme of the 2012 camp will be Hawaii. Activities will explore both modern and historic Hawaii, its culture, environment and people.

Trinity Adventure Camp

To address the need of older girls, Camp Tall Trees has organized a new session called Trinity Adventure Camp. It aims to serve the needs of high school girls entering grades 9 thru 12.

Trinity Adventure Camp 2012 is a high adventure outdoor experience which include rafting, climbing, survival skills, rappelling and caving. The camp is specifically designed to also attract girls from outside the Humboldt/Del Norte region. Click here for information on Trinity Adventure Camp

Volunteers

Camp Tall Trees is run entirely by volunteers. We would like you to consider volunteering. We have opportunities for administrative volunteers, resident adult volunteers and day helpers. This is a great opportunity to have fun, re-live your childhood camp experiences, and enjoy the outdoors while helping an amazing group of girls grow. We have many flexible ways to allow you to volunteer. Call us at (707) 839 3714 to discuss how you can participate. In the meantime, please check out our volunteer page. Thank you to those who made camp a reality for over one hundred girls in 2011.

CIT Opportunities

Girls entering grades 8 thru 12 in the fall of 2012 that have completed Program Aide training are eligible to apply for a CIT (counselor in training) position at one or more camp sessions. This is a great opportunity to have fun, help younger girls while at the same time developing your leadership skills. Check our CIT page.
