Cookie Rally

1:00 - 3:30pm Sunday Jan 11 Veterans Hall, Arcata

This years cookie rally is themed Cookie College. As in prior years this is a fun event top prepare the girls for cookie season. Full of hands on, fun activities designed to teach the skills necessary to sell one on one, at booth and on line. You will have an opportunity to earn part of a financial literacy badge. Activities will meet requirements for all age level.

Please bring used towels or blankets for donation to the animal shelter.

Cost $5.00 including patch.

International Festival

1:30 - 4:30pm Sunday Mar 22, Veterans Hall, Arcata

This annual event is our local celebration of Thinking Day designed to have girls learn and thinking about there sisters in other parts of the world. Each troop picks a country, designs a booth and showcases their country with an activity, food and displays. Troops are also encouraged to create a short performance.

The event will open with the traditional parade of flags after which girls will take their passport and travel the world as they visit all the booths.

Engineering Day

Sunday Mar 29th

Aimed for girls in grades 3 thru 5, this years engineering day will again be hosted by the Society of Women Engineers. This is a great opportunity for girls to interact with HSW students and faculty and allows them to see young women in non traditional roles. Questions contact Cheryl 707-839-3714,

Guys & Dolls Dance

Saturday May 9, Veterans Hall, Arcata

This is your opportunity to invite that special guy to the dance. Dinner will be served from 5pm to 7pm and the dance will commence promptly at 7pm and end at 9pm. Photos will be available.
