Holiday Craft Fair

Thursday Dec 3 5:30 - 8:00 pm

Dows Prairie Grange, McKinleyville

Girl Scouts will make 8 take-away projects that will make nice family gifts and decorations.  They will also participate in a service project making holiday cards for local Seniors.

Cost also includes a snack and participation patch. While we have a great many program aides, troop leaders will need to have a proper ratio of volunteers to help their younger girls as needed.

International Festival

Sunday March 20 1:30 to 4:30 Veterans Hall Arcata

Girl Scouting is a world wide movment with over ten million girls in 146 countries around the world. Every year we celebrate Thinking Day which is designed to allow our local girls to learn something about the world we live in and about their sisters in other countries.

Each participating troop picks a country to present at their booth. Each booth typically has adisplays about the country, a food from the country and an activity associated with the country. Girls receive a passport and "travel" from country to country, as they do they can get their passports stamped.

Cost $4.00 per girl
